Covid Precautions for Choir

To keep our activities safe, we still have to employ some Covid-related precautions, but these are a bit easier now that Brooklyn's virus numbers have improved and testing is more readily available. Here's the plan we will follow this Fall (2022):

  • All are welcome to participate, regardless of vaccination status.
  • If you have any cold symptoms at all, please don't come to choir that day, even if you test negative for Covid.
  • If Covid risk levels in Brooklyn rise again and become a concern, then everyone will wear a mask throughout rehearsals & performances, except...
  • You may sing without a mask if you 1) have no cold symptoms at all, AND 2) have proof of a negative Covid test that same day (rapid antigen test is fine).  Masks must be well-fitting and effective. KN-95s are recommended; we will have a few on hand for those in need.
  • We will perform while the local risk level in Brooklyn is low or medium, as defined by the CDC.
  • We may temporarily suspend performances if the local risk level becomes high.
